Yummy hummus, very smooth. The pita bread was so cute and could be described as puffy pillows of warmth. The Boukie's Platter was plenty for 3 with left overs. If you have men who love meat, this was a great variety of everything. The sauces for dipping were very flavorful. Try the lemon chicken rice soup on a cold day. The grilled veggies were cooked to perfection. Dessert was a perfect ending with baklava and rice pudding. The staff was cheerful, very helpful and friendly. They love their regulars...They have a great take out business too.

Finally found shwarna i liked. Was scared of the kafta but uts great. Will return many many more times. Yummy

The shish kafta pita was delicious - loaded with delicious kafta (and the provided fixings) with the addition of garlic sauce - so good. As I mentioned it was loaded - no gaps, space, or floppyness to this pita or any of the pitas the rest of the family enjoyed. The fries were tasty too. We definitely want to come back and try some other items.

One of the best Mediterranean restaurants I’ve ever experienced, the lemon chicken rice soup is delish. It’s clean and modern. Cloth napkins ect. And the lunch menu is not extensive! I called in at around 3pm on a Tuesday and they had the food wrapped and ready for me in 15 minutes. 5 stars.

I usually come for their lunch specials, which is a good value and the food is delicious and fresh. Meat shawarma platter is one of my favorites (tastes more like lamb than beef, which is a plus for me) and the grilled vegetables is one of an options for a side (some Lebanese places just offer rice or fries) It also comes with soup or salad and bread and garlic. Bread is delicious. Lunch specials ends at 3pm. Service has been spotty in the past (never terrible, just okay), but really improved lately.

Great place, good food and plenty of it. They followed social distancing guidelines even as we ate outside. It felt good to sit down and eat at a restaurant and feel safe in this current climate.

It was awesome! I went with my husband after reading all these good reviews , parking is hard to find but no one should miss it, their lamb Kobab was awesome

I think the spaniche pie and the tabouli were a tad old but was still good and the hummus and garlic sauce was great!

Lemon rice soup had no lemon flavor. The lamb gyro comes with onions, tomatoes and tsaziki sauce.I ordered no onions but it came with onions and no tomatoes even though the order slip clearly said “no onions.” Gyro meat was dry and tasteless. All in all, a really bad meal.

My first time here in this charming place. I will be definitely coming back with my family and friends. Truly authentic. Delightful experience. Lovely atmosphere. FIVE GOLDEN STARS. I would like to thank Ali for suggesting the best things to have. They were indeed.

If you want to try Lebanese food. This is the place to be. Remember the food quality is little too much for one person so order wisely.

Best chicken shawarma sandwich. Their bread is also homemade and the garlic sauce is to die for. I’m not gonna lie, lots of chicken shawarmas are tough for my stomach so I am quite selective when I find a place that doesn’t give me indigestion and this is it! Everything else we have tried here including the salad tastes amazing 😋Highly recommend it!

We randomly stopped at Boukies Grill, we thought they had a cute little patio and it was a nice day. We ordered hummus to share and let me tell you PHENOMENAL! The warm, fresh pita bread, with the hummus, oil and garlic...Wow! I want some more right now thinking about it. Also ordered the chicken kabob pita which was good. Next time I'll probably get the chicken kabob not on the pita as I didn't care much for the sauce on it. But that was my error, as I'm picky and knew I should have ordered condiments on the side especially at a restaurant I've never been. Service was absolutely amazing! Never once had to ask for a refill on our pita bread or beverages. We will definitely be back!

The food is fresh and delicious. The restaurant is very clean and the service is great. Their menu is very big and there is a lot of options to choose from. They also have very good smoothies. I Really recommend this restaurant if you are in Royal Oak.

Ive been coming here a long time, fairly regularly! very good lemon rice soup, the platter is not for 2 unless those 2 are sumo wrestlers (who are cheaters, look it up), the sandwiches are the best bang for your buck

As a person of middle eastern descent who grew up eating Lebanese and Syrian food prepared by my own family, I can confidently say that this is my favorite middle eastern food in Metro Detroit.

By far this is one of my favorite places to eat. Any chance I have I am here ordering the vegetable + hummus and the hot tea!!! Their food is extremely delicious, not greasy. Get a side of garlic sauce and bread. The sauce has the consistency of whipped cream and the bread is puffy and soft. The chicken shawarma and beef kafta were to die for.

Frozen mint lemonade is amazing! Garlic spread is often complimentary and it tastes incredible. They use a stone oven to toast fresh pocketed bread for the table. Best baklava I've had in years. I enjoyed their rice pudding as well. Both desserts were very affordable. Only complaint ever is that sometimes their meat, chicken in particular, is dry. When it is not, however, it is delightful.

The food here is literally always fresh and fast. The prices are unbeatable and the value is amazing. I come here every time in royal oak and you get a big fresh meal for 2 for $25. Very friendly staff and owner.

Great food. Ask for the kibbeh spicy with fresh jalapeño on the side if you enjoy heat. Each element of the vegetarian platter was tasty. I especially enjoyed the grape leaves.

The best Shawarma I have ever had. The lunch special is a great deal. Will definitely be back!! Garlic sauce is the best I’ve ever had. Can’t say enough great things about this place.

The chicken and beef shwarma was dry and the hummus was bland. The lamb kabobs are EXCELLENT, falafel ok, and the fresh bread was good. They didn't pack dressing for the salad, and didn't give me the meat stuffed grape leaves that i specifically requested. They are not answering phones presently, so I couldn't get this fixed.

By far the best Greek salad and chicken Shwarma! The garlic yogurt is amazing! Fresh and inexpensive.

I absolutely love Boukie's. My wife and I would eat here at least once a week when we lived in Royal Oak. A year ago we moved out of Royal Oak and still go out of our way to stop in and pick up food from here because we love it so much. Absolutely delicious, I highly recommend!

The roasted cauliflower is fantastic! Actually everything I had was great, lemon rice soup, shish tawook, roasted veggies, the pita bread are perfect little pillowy pockets... so good. Def going back next time I'm on that side of town.

Great food and service. The only downside is the parking but that's all of Royal Oak.
